William Goodge (born 1994) is an English model, social media star, and former rugby player from Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Modeling career William Goodge started playing rugby in the United Kingdom when he was six years old. He trained for 20 years before being forced to retire after suffering a series of concussions. Humanitarian efforts After losing his mother Amanda to cancer at the beginning of 2018, Googe ran a string of ultra-marathons for the charity to help him deal with his grief. He had his first major run near the end of 2018, covering 26 miles around his home town of Ampthill. He raised well over $15000 for Macmillan cancer and Bedford Hospital, where his mother was treated for cancer. As he revealed, his mother was a nurse, and she did a lot of humanitarian work, sponsoring girls in Africa to help them get the education they need. That is the main reason why he wanted to continue her legacy. He ran his first official marathon in Los Angeles in 2019 after completing the 62-mile run from London to Brighton. His 850-mile run in 2019 gained coverage from the leading British media such is Daily Mail or the ITV. Goodge planned to run from John o'Groats to Lands End, claiming that it makes him deal with his demons. He decided to run alone as it helps him clear his mind and process the fact that his mother is gone. His ultimate goal is to compete in the "World Marathon Challenge," which includes running seven marathons in seven days in Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, Antarctica, South America, and North America. Less than 200 completed this event since it was founded in 2003. Personal life Googe lost his mom Amanda (53) in early 2018 after her battle with Non-Hodgin lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. She previously beat it two times. He is currently in a relationship with Los Angeles based model Kelsie Smeby.
