I may sound stupid or my statement may sound preposterous. But, I feel all these undergarment designers should include the full frontal and back nude of the model and then show them how their products protect and provoke the viewer to go for their product!

Don't think your comment is preposterous. If a company wants to sell a product, it would make sense for the product to be visible. Some photos seem to emphasize the model or the setting instead. Beside selling a product, there is the fantasy that goes with it: how it will make the purchaser look or create a "new you."  Emotional appeal, especially  sex appeal, sell products.
