I backup my personal files and my porn stash on a Seagate portable external hard drive. I have used Seagate portable external hard drives for years and have never had an issue with them. The only reason I keep replacing them is the capacity keeps increasing and the cost keeps going down. My first Seagate drive cost about $80 and was (I think only 150-GB). The last one I bought several months ago to do a Windows Image back-up on was 1TB and cost less than $60. Amazon is selling it today for $54.99. Even the 2TB one is selling for $79.99.

Yeah I remember spending something like $110 for my WD hard drive, which gave me 1 TB of space (which, back then, I thought I would never fill up in my entire life. Boy was I wrong!). It's so much cheaper now for even 2 - 4 TB.
