A day where you stayed in bed the whole day?

that sounds very nice, but unless i am sick, i find it difficult to stay in bed for any length of time after i wake up in the morning. but if i could stay in bed all day, that would be awesome!! i would have to get up for a few minutes here and there throughout the day to get food though. no one here would do that for me.

to give you an example, i came home from the hospital after my quadruple bypass surgery. the next day, i got up, found my way to the kitchen, and cooked my own breakfast. this was at around 11am. around 4pm, i came out to the kitchen to see what's for supper. no one was in the kitchen, but when i peeked around the door into the living room, my sis and her 30 year old son were sitting on the couch playing games and texting on their phones. i knew if i wanted supper, i was going to have to make it myself. this was 10 days after my surgery. so here i am trying to cook a meal, and i knew if i didn`t cook for the house, they`d be hell to pay, believe it or not. i could only walk about 10 feet or so and i`d have to sit down to catch my breath. after a few minutes of banging around the kitchen selecting pots and pans to cook the food, my sis yelled out "what are you doing, Wes?" i yelled back that i was cooking supper because i was hungry. i yelled to her son and asked him to come out and fill the pot with water for pasta, as i wasn't allowed to lift anything over 5 to 10 pounds. he yelled back "i`m in the middle of something" meaning he was playing a video game. i yelled back that if he wanted supper he`d better get his ass out here. within seconds, my sis came into the kitchen, and asked what i was cooking for supper. i told her pasta, with a veggie stir fry and ground beef fried with onions. she filled the pot with water, and put it on the stove just as her son finally got off his ass to come to the kitchen. then she sat down at the table and started cleaning the vegetables. i was in the kitchen every single day cooking supper, because if i didn`t do it, i wasn't going to be eating. i have such a loving family too.
