Sri Lankan trouser snakes can be quite nice. The other kind, not so much. 

Meeting someone from the future ... that's a tough one. Depends who it is. Bear in mind that I live in New York, so I've already met people who claimed to be from the future, from the past, from a parallel universe, from Alpha Centauri, from Sri Lanka ... you get the idea. But what the hell? I say OK.

Running into someone who knew you when you were a little boy (say, younger than 5) but who hasn't seen you since then?
