Think that is because of the big crash. Joel has been recovering what he can and there is a process underway to link the underlying pics that were uploaded with their thumbnail. Its a long process but until it happens the thumbnail is blank. I think most of it has been completed now so go back and check and see if you still have the same problem. Hope that helps.
