If all reactions are positive, then I would be very happy for you. However, if you used to live in a conservative area, negative reactions are not out of the question.

Your surgery this year was a really big step, a positive step.

Thanks to both of you! I am leaning on not attending for precisely these reasons.

This is petty, but I am fairly confident that I am now way hotter than most of the cheerleaders I went to high school with! 😂

Update: Thanks for everyone’s feedback. After thinking things over a bit, I have decided to not attend this high school reunion. I am now focused on celebrating my first “girl birthday” in a little over two months. Life is about moving forward!
