today is election eve. I will say no more. Building a community happens in both big ways and small ways. We've undergone big, identity-shattering transformations that have catapulted us into new directions, new content, and new groups of people. We've also undergone thousands of tiny little steps, every day to grow the community in more quiet ways. I try to not lose sight of the 'thousand little steps' to improve: the tiny minutiae that - on their own - may not seem like a lot. But compounded over time, they add up. Each improvement is a step towards a better, more custom, more pleasant user experience. Every day I try to look at the community with a fresh set of eyes, and every time I find something that I can maybe do different, do a little bit better. And while I can't get to everything as soon as I want, the eventual persistence pays off.

daylight savings ending tonite means finally has a more or less free evening so....what is new? invalid parental unit's dementia is getting somewhat more pronounced is getting a bit tired of being asked "do we have any cabbage soup?" finally shrieked WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY CABBAGE SOUP! to which 's invalid parental unit replies "'s gramma used to make cabbage soup" well....that might be so but - as - retorted - NOT IN THIS HOUSE! the last time had a haircut was pre-COVID and really looks like it is going to ask sibling to use hair trimmer to trim 's hair THAT is how desperate has gotten if it goes as suspects will just shave 's head baldness runs in the family so will get an idea of what the future has in store for (suspects it will not be a pretty sight. some folks just do not look good bald. will finally be able to wear a hat and not have to worry about hat hair) STILL hounded by the incompetent should finish with making the menu to the new site the way it should be but every time looks at the incoherent organization of the incompetent becomes enraged and it has taken weeks for to calm down last ZOOM meeting the incompetent said "here is my rationalization..." quickly chimed in - A RATIONALIZATION IS A LIE LOOKING FOR JUSTIFICATION so others asked "could do better?" pointed out - based on the site they have now - already has so now others are waiting on a coherent menu but other items are taking precedent so the site continues to be delayed ain't the project manager the incompetent is and should shut up now because just thinking about that imbecil makes enraged
