WURLITZER   -   the game

Aim of the game is to guess the name of someone ( a man or a woman or a group ) , alive or dead , real or imaginary ( the character from a movie or a book, for example ) .

Essential condition: this someone must be known by everyone.

How to guess the name? Hints will come from a list of songs ( generally, 10 + 2 bonus tracks ) and may be hidden in the title or in the singer or even in something else concerning the song ( for example, the song might be in the soundtrack of a movie, and hint may be just in this movie ).

At first, it won't be so easy to guess the name; but things will be easier song after song.

Which songs can be chosen? Anything goes. Yet, considering the name of the game ( Wurlitzer ) , songs from the 1950s to 1960s or 1970s should be preferred , but  only  if possible.

No multiple answers rom a single player at the end of each song. I suggest that players shouldn't give more tan 2 non consecutive answers for each song.

it is going to take me a while to get the hang of this game. i might have to watch for a few rounds to see if i can get the hang of it. 

Anubis and i chat everyday on ICQ messenger, and even after he explained to me how he got David Duchovny from the clues of a pic of a jukebox and a video by red hot chili peppers, is so far over my head, i ducked several times to avoid getting hit by the imaginary airplane flying over my head. i never heard of the tv show californication, and i`m pretty sure i don`t live under a rock, lolololol!!

Mauro, and Anubis are 2 of the most intelligent people i know. while they both made it to and completed college, i never got out of public school. its too long a story to cover here, but i never made it past public school. not that i am stupid, but with the way you 2 guys play, it`s like you`re playing jeoardy, while i`m playing wheel of fortune, lololol!!

No, it's not him.

Consider that the first hints are the hardest.

Actually, this first song contains 2 hints; but neither is the tv series you have thought of.

Moreover, though Duchovny is a celeb, I wouldn't take him as the object of WURLITZER - the game. It must be someone that everyone knows.

Try it again. Later i'll post the 2nd song.

Wes , my friend , believe me when i say that this game is not so hard. I'm sure you heard about the person hidden in the song.

As i said before, here you find 2 hints, one in the group and one in the song. Anyhow, with next songs things should be easier. Please, don't give up.

I didn't think it would be that easy, but I needed to come up with something, to show you I was playing. 

He is pretty famous here, probably more for the X-files TV series and movies, Twin Peaks, and his divorce, than for Californication.

hey Mauro, maybe if we did a test game with the answer given after a some mock guesses, offering how you chose the guesses you made. it might help me understand Wurlitzer a little better. right now, i am more confused with each hint/clue that`s offered. with love from Wes!! Hugs!!!
