One of the first attractions, when I was in kindergarten, was "Spin and Marty".  Something about white t-shirts and denim jeans made me want to watch them.  Then came other westerns of the late-1950s and into the earlier 1960s.  There were a few shots of Chuck Connors working shirtless on his farm that I liked, too.  Can't forget the various "Tarzans", either.

In the earlier 1960s, then came all of the Warner Bros detective shows.  Including Robert Conrad in "Hawaiian Eye".  Based, naturally, in Hawaii, so there were some shirtless shorts and high-waisted swim trunk shots, too.  Clint Walker in their westerns, too!  Can't forget "Leave It To Beaver" and Tony Dow or Bud in "Father Knows Best".

More westerns in the middle 1960s which had lots of usually-clad, but covering obvious muscles in the process, actors  Every so often, a shirtless shot of Michael Landon on "Bonanza" and his obviously free-balling ways.

By the time the "Dukes of Hazzard" happened, I had decided I liked to look at studly males rather than curvacious females.  Other than the eye candy, all of those shows usually had good plots and were easy to watch regularly.  

No ONE "crush", just an ever-evolving liking to see fit guys shirtless, on tv or in public.

Other than these guys, I liked seeing the men who were their fathers on those shows.  Chuck Connors was the strong, take charge guy who stood for right.  On Flipper, it was "Eye Candy Shore", with Luke always in cut-offs and his father that looked good in his shirt and the few times he was shirtless.  LOTS of great TV back then!
