Enig-Boys Archie dead

Sad news:

 

Just shortly after CF said that one their models died and the death of Erik Rhodes there is another death notice on a porn site: Archie from Enig, who died from drug overdosis.

 

 

I would not say there's direct a connection between being a gay model, a pornstar, escort and taking drugs - other than the guys were most likely rather poor and have suddenly lot's of money at their hands to buy them. Also the porn business may be drug friendly...

 

Don't know but I'd guess it was most likely not an "overdose" (like you'd have with h) but a cocktail of partydrugs, speed etc. It's really sad. But it's good that they don't hide this on Enig, but post this "unsexy" news on their site to remind people not to take everything but to think.

Wow, maybe i live under a stone but I ad no idea about Erik Rhodes, but well, now they are in peace.

Sad. So many young people live fast and die young, especially in repressed societies.

That is sad. In our youth, we never think that it would be us dying, that youth provides some immunity from death.

Porn performers do not tend to speak much about their off-screen lives. But there is a very good movie about male hookers (in French) - do not recall its title - a series of interviews actually.

These guys make quite some money - and then to only spend it on drugs. Prostitution has always been accompanied by drug use. Porn is probably dug friendly too, as ihno suggested.

Also - some of performers enter the business at a barely legal age - when I guess they are less likely to make some sensible decisions for themselves.

I wish there were more stories of successful "porn career" survivals - like Colton Ford for example.
