I love the pics, but is there a way to change this "webp" format to regular "jpg"? After saving the pic, my slideshow totally ignores the pic with that format. And I cannot edit the pic like I usually do with jpg pics.

If you save them, you may be able to rename them as jpegs . If that doesn't work there are free conversion programs on the web that should do the job for you.

If you have the Windows Paint program, you can use that to convert the photos to jpg photos.

Convertio.co is an online site that does a very wide variety of image format conversions. (NOTE: the domain is .co, not .com)  It's free, up to 10 conversions per day.  You're limited to uploading 2 images at a time for conversion unless you're a subscriber, but that's not a significant restriction most of the time.  This site is especially useful for converting GIFs that are in WEBP format to true GIFs.

If you happen to use a Mac computer, Preview will also do the conversions using the File > Export function if you're using MacOS 12.7.2 (Monterey) or a more recent version.  It doesn't seem to work for GIFs, though.

When I copy an image; I just click "same image as" then blew the image "file name" there is  "save file type" choose "All files" then back up to "file name" just change the (.web) to ".jpg"   it's also a good time to change or shorten the file name if you like.

I utilize Alchemy Mindworks "Graphic Workshop Professional" software for converting images into other formats:  Graphic Workshop Professional (mindworkshop.com)  I've utilized it since the mid 90's and have had excellent success with it.  They also offer a GIF software; but, I have not utilized that.

Thanks for the input. I'm using windows. I have used "paint" many times before to change the file types. this file will not open in paint. it says it is not supported. Also, I was on another website recently, can't remember which one, that had pics in that same file type, however, it had a link you could click to download, and the website would change it to jpg for you. Is that option avail here, and I just missed it?

I also tried changing the file type while saving. I do that all the time from jpeg to jpg, but the file would not open after saving.
