Years later when his Dr. Bannon character would turn into the Hulk, I was always hoping for a sock sighting when his boots would burst during the transformation. Never happened. He always wore boots on the show too.

He had a great speaking voice and showed up everywhere...game shows, so much television, etc. He died way too young.
