it's mystifying to old age pensioners like oneself, why people are so worked up about having a day off - the bank is closed, the library is closed, and the post office is closed. however, my routine is the same - try to get breakfast accomplished before Perry Mason, then what? nothing until the exceedingly cute Adam-12 boys show up on the scream, er, I mean screen. so, I am unmotivated to enjoy anything other than my picture collection. my feature for today is the redoubtable Jimmy Stewart. although I resist watching It's A Wonderful Life, I do enjoy him in other flicks, and especially enjoy imagining him making love to Cary Grant. ooh - had a tax client pecking at the door. not as many as I used to, what with people dying off or moving back to the frozen North. okay, back to Jimmy Stewart. always lovable, except when playing a bad guy, in which is was not very convincing 🙂 welcome to our newest clubmembers!
