today is Memorial Day, a day which is important to me, as I was raised by two veterans, and had two veteran grandpas, one of whose birthdays was today. I am going to write a short apologia about my absence, part of which is just due to my bad luck - I was holding on by the the skin of my teeth for Monday, so I could call in tech support, then I came [giggle] to realize this was a holiday for some people. no effect on retired SOB's like me. I have had some pleasant messages from @ajdefault, @JackFTwist, and @stuck, for which I am endlessly grateful. with hope, normal service will resume tomorrow or somewhere over the rainbow. in the mean time, I present some gentlemen in military service.
