this day has brought some interest! I chose to drive to Aldi, which is 8 miles out in the country, and has a nice selection of items imported from Germany, as well as came recommended as a good resource for affordable spices. I got some oregano and a box alleged to contain a little bottle of almond extract. except when I was putting the groceries away, I came to find out that there was no almond extract in the box. that is a completely new customer complaint to me. well, to the club - man, it's painful to watch as we inch toward 5500 members. a gracious welcome to our new clubmembers, and here's a hint - recommending us to your buddy lists and/or listserv would be an exceedingly cheap Valentine's gift. just saying. also, my feature is the ever wonderful, ever beautiful Dan Anders. I know folks agree with me, as he has many followers, some with fauxtoshop 😛 anyway, enjoy!
