a very quiet morning. the news today is not very cheery - I am still stuck with computer problems. a glimmer of hope is hearing from an IT guy who lives in the same town as I. dunno if we will get together tomorrow or if I have to hang fire until Monday. I am trying to be brave, however, it is a travail. FWIW, I did not get final jeopardy tonight; who knows a lot about the history of france? I am lucky to know how to say Louis XV and Louis XVI. pray for me.

Thursday - 25th

this day went by quickly; I had to rescue my elder neighbor from hospital, and later went by the bank to visit my few savings. picked up some chicken salad for dinner, and I have to say, it was a bit disappointing. what a day! certainly giving up thoughts and prayers for any clubmembers in the region of the Sabine River. our meteorologist (not the cute one) said the storm surge could reach 40 miles inland. an interesting day - it would have been my Aunt Jennie's 97th birthday, however, she expired before the covid got her. so I did some marketing, got birthday cards in the mail for a couple of friends, and here I am, looking at my picture collection. the most exciting thing today was, the HVAC service that I use, sent by a man to clean out my pipes. cheap at $60, eh? zzz zzz zzz I am not falling asleep, however, I am giving notice that we are almost to the end of the alphabet, and going into category models of extremely handsome guys for whom I have no name.
