Profile: According to the website of Florida's Calder Race Course: "Marty Wolfson spent much of his youth visiting his father's Harbor View Farm and took out his trainer's license at age 18.  He has trained for Harbor View, Veterans Racing Stable, Fred Hooper, and Team Valor, among others.  While he has never won a training title at Calder or Tropical at Calder, he is still among the all-time leading trainers in races and stakes won.  His most recent success stories include Express Tour, who swept the 2000 Florida Stallion Stakes, and Mr. Pleasentfar, winner of the 2001 Flying Pigeon Handicap here and the Red Smith Handicap (G2) at Aqueduct.  "Marty now lives in Florida with his wife Karla on their horse farm "Precious Acres."  Lou Wolfson, Marty's father, was the breeder and owner of Affirmed, the last horse to win the Triple Crown, in 1978--just a few months after Marty appeared in Playgirl.

Profile:   Produced a documentary, American Cowboy (1997 directed by Kyle Henry), the story of real-life American cowboy Gene Mikulenka as he prepares to compete in the International gay Rodeo finals in Albuquerque New Mexico. Along the way the cowboy breaks a leg, has a favorite horse die, and proposes marriage to his significant other. Top-notch editing, good pacing and story-telling which presents a side of gay life that is seldom featured on film or television.  Has won a number of prizes in film festivals around the USA.
