Profile: He appeared in the 1980 Village People film “Can't Stop the Music” as a Disco Photographer under the name of Roger LeClaire.  Born 24 March 1950, Michigan.  He died in February 1986 in Los Angeles of AIDS complications.  He worked as a bartender at Studio One, a disco/show room in West Hollywood, popular in the 1970s & 1980s.  From the Studio One web site: ….”One [bartender] was hired under my management that being Roger Laclair.  He worked the stage bar and was hired in 1976.  He would have been voted the most beautiful bartender Studio One had.  His face was stunning chiseled GQ type.  Also quiet and somewhat shy.  Was there for 9 years.”  (Posted Sep 14, 08 3:39 pm by Jack Wheeler)

Ironically, Craig first gained public attention in the title role of the 1985 safe sex video, Life Guard.    He was a track star in high school and received a BA degree in hotel administration & marketing from the University of New Hampshire.    He was politically active in California, working as co-producer of the "Blue Moon Trilogy" mural for the AIDS Project Los Angeles.
