Lavender AI art

okay, is it just me but some of these portraits look real. The first one really caught my attention because his skin looked like a photograph. The pic of the guy showing his naked backside in font of the rock at the waterfall is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of these look like cover art for the vintage gay romance novels we never got to read because they couldn't be written & published back then.

They're all very striking.  Do we know who did them?  Or are they by different artists?

The images in this album are really good ones - I wouldn't know they were AI generated without having been told so.

I tend to think art is always in the eye of the beholder. We shouldn't mistake use of the term "AI" to mean something created from nothing, though. It always requires some form of input. Some AI sites parse a written description to retrieve, combine, and/or modify existing images from a collection of things found on the web. I experimented with one recently that couldn't produce a unicorn to save it's non-existent soul. Strange. Some take a submitted image and modify it, and you might be surprised how many people create original art this way, taking a base image that really is their own creation and using AI filters to improve it. Software even exists that will modify an image based on a particular artist's style, like that of Van Gogh, Cezanne, O'Keefe, Turner, etc. That use of AI - modifying an existing image - is really nothing new. Perhaps what is new is the level of sophistication achieved. 

 Even if the AI generated Art is controversial and disputed by real artists, for me as an aficionado to homoerotic art it's worth watching... and it even starts to spread out all its possibilities! 😍😊
