What's your speed?

This was inspired by a chat from @JackFTwist, who wanted to know my speed.  

I'm currently on a cable connection with AT&T U-Verse with 21 Mbps download and 4.5 Mbps (paying for 24 Mbps so ... not bad?).  

Head on over to speedtest.net for your results and post!

I have to tell you I don't really know what this means but here are the results from my pc in the Netherlands.

Ping  16ms.  Download Speed 52.46 Mbps,  Upload Speed  18.55 Mbps.

The connection is cable with Ziggo, Nederland

To coin a phrase "It is all Dutch to me!" meaning 'I have no idea what we are talking about " lol

Well I do have a vague idea I presume Mbps is megabites per second, but what Ping means is anybody's guess

Holy crap, you all have Internet speeds that blow mine away!!  And I'm paying over $100 / mo for this stuff.  

Do you have some sort of academic / professional connection?  I can't believe that a residential connection would be that high.

Comcast cable connection.  Nothing special.  Also TV and VOIP for about $150/mo.  About 2 or 3 years ago, they doubled their speeds.

Also have cable connection and a Ziggo technician is due to visit this week to make sure all is well.

Ping ms = 40

Download mbps = 2.55

Upload mbps = 0.12

I don't understand  a word of that, but get the feeling it's not as impressive as those that posted before me.

Those are my result.

I usually download with up to 2.6 Mbyte/s which results in about 20 Mbps but guess the TV is consuming some band with. 😄

Me too. I tested using Wifi... I'm assuming it's better connected to the router.
