YouTube has several videos on Riendeau, and I think Belotti, too.  Alas, the cameramen at diving competitions must have strict instructions to minimize the time the camera spends focused on their Speedo-style swimwear.😞

There's also a reason for their generally dark colors, too.  NOT to forget the camera angles!  BUT ALSO consider the mantra of "Speedo", "To flatten and flatter" the body.  Of course, there are people who should NOT wear, or even THINK about wearing Speedos or similar.

White speedos may be the exception, as they tend to become translucent when they get wet, showing the wearer's equipment.  On the right guy, this can be 😋

And yes, there are lots of guys who shouldn't even think of wearing a speedo, much less anything more skimpy.  Case in point, the overweight older guy with a big beer gut that almost covers his speedo.  Just not appealing to me, IMHO.

I think the judges are a bit mean with scores.  I mean, come on.  6, 6.5 and all that.  8, 8.5 is more likely. 

 

Or have I got it wrong? Are they the scores for the diving 🤔 🤭
