It scares me to think i could easily be a father now I'm 23. But i don't think that will ever happen. I mean i considered getting fish for my room recently but not sure i can deal with so much responsibility :rofl:

lol@chris!! I cannot even cope with a houseplant, and I am much older than you.

 

I do agree with the posts above that getting older is an enriching experience - seeing more, and being able to understand people better is a gift that only comes with age. I guess my opinion on the values of aging will change when my joints start to giving out!! I may look a little less pretty on the outside then when I was 21, but inside I am a much more complete human being.

niv, I understand. i think some people were cut out for that role and others weren't.

 

but actually when i see the way some kids are raised i wouldn't do a worse job.

 

tino, i read about soy too, i drink soy milk but not sure i should. i think it's natural for men to slightly recede in their early twenties. that's happened to me but touch wood nothing further. if you look at most men even in middle age, not many have a straight hairline so don't worry.

seriously tho, i couldn't give a rat's fanny really. i've resolved to do the manly thing and when i'm, say, 25 or so, i'll get a No. 1 or 2 cut all over and keep it that way!

 

green babies: i tried my first houseplant last year. i decided to begin with this bonzai that was going cheap in the little shop across the road. "it's old", i thought, so it must be tough. it was a bad idea. i fed the little darlin every day for months, but i went away for a week and when i came back it was totally fried. should have got someone to babysit.

 

tip:cacti are easy! and cute in a pleasantly phallic way. "a few drops of water every week. or nothing." said the guy in the shop.

I brought a set of 3 Cactii from a garden centre and was told that you only need a few drops of water a week,

 

So I water it faithfully for years yet it never seems to grow

 

One day I knocked it over and it just snapped in half, completely brittle

 

Inside it was completely dessicated, I had been watering a bloody dead and mummified set of Cactii for years...

 

What a waste of bloody time
