Great work on the songs !  Very very good choices.

As for the answer, your hints helped me a lot; anyhow , Louis Armstrong would have been my next answer even without them.

I had some problems with song #3 ( and still have ) ; and now also with #11.  Would you please explain them ? Thanks.

#3 the trumpet playing stripper sings "bump it with a trumpet", which was an instrument he was famous for playing

#11  "There is a house in New Orleans" (again going back to his main location),  and the fact that he too was from a broken home.

Given his history, I thought they were reasonable choices.  I almost went with the song "Hey, Officer Krupke" from West Side Story, to reflect his juvenile delinquency
