went to eye doctor

and AGAIN the same results

1 - new prescription on eyeglasses are optional as the change is so minute

2 - cataracts are present....buuuuuuuut....

seems there are three categories of cataracts

1- minor 2 - moderate 3 - significant

 

remains on the cusp of minor/moderate

the doctor asked "is seeing flashes of light or blurry patches - especially at night while driving?"

said "no - but does see elephants coming out of the air vents"

the eye doctor said, "well....ummm...we do have significant air vents so that shows that at this time might not need any surgery at this time"

 

was so certain that this was the year the procedure was going to happen

but it really is foolish to push something prior to it being genuinely necessary

still sees OK

 

sees another eye doctor - a retina specialist - in 6 months

this has been the routine for years to keep up on 's daibetes issues with 's eyes

but it turns out this past summer 's retina specialist died

- which stunned

so has an appointment with new retina person who took over the practice

 

 

the doctor did suggest a different kind of doctor regarding the elephants

...someone " can talk to"

 

apparently there are supposedly no elephants slipping through air vents

(according to the eye doctor)

and for unknown reasons is blind to the 7 foot tall amoeba in the hula skirt and lazy eye

 

( not blind. just thought that gawking would be rude)
