Sleeping Beauty: The Beast & John Travis (1969), Dir. Bob Mizer
Sleeping Beauty: The Beast (1969), Dir Bob Mizer
"Johnny Travis is the knight who enters the chambers of the bewitched prince who has been asleep many centuries. His affectionate concern causes the prince (Bill Voldemar) to awaken from his deep slumber, but when John tries to take him out of the castle he turn into a beast, and it is only when John shows he can love him in spite of his ugliness that he once again turns into a handsome prince this time free to go where he will" (Physique Pictorial, Vol. 18, No. 1, January 1970 [p. 21]).
There are many photos of John Travis with an understudy during this shoot, although the unnamed model does not seem to appear in the film. Bill Voldemar's foreskin was retracted throughout; there are exceptions, but it seems Mizer often instructed models to do this.
(The film is silent, but is accompanied by the usual projector noise added to these releases. In the case of Sleeping Beauty..., the sound is only audible when the video is downloaded, for some reason.)
