maybe it is because has been dealing with it for so long

the script just is not 's sensibility

is just really not "into" the single little skit is in

 

a few nuanced lines that wrote initially managed to remain

and was allowed to name the characters in a fashion that makes a bow to the Marx Brothers

( prays at least one person in the audience gets the reference)

but the script is so "safe"

 

it is so "gosh golly gee"

there is just no bite to it

 

the tech rehearsal is tomorrow night

gonna try to make ' s character as obnoxious as possible

so that there is SOME attitude in the piece

and it isn't so fucking polite

 

how in hell can you call it a satire if it pulls punches?

 

hopes the director will approve of 's alterations
