in a service - image.png.48d96ab6b8605e43c3a1b0b9e4a38147.png will take some time to introduce some of you to some artist who are exceptional

this fellow - Dimash Kudaibergen

(just call him Dimash)

is literally in a class by himself

this young man comes from a musical backgroud

if image.png.cf9f98eb63e9b13d7c71262f18c95dea.png has the story correct

Dimash's dad is a pop singer and Dimash's  mother is a vocal coach

to say he inherited his talent is dismissive

because no blood can make anybody THIS extraordinary

image.png.c0663e65988cc8f3b20b8a4cdff80bd5.png isn't certain

but this rendition of SOS might be the one that set youtube ablaze

image.png.0d54aef61852e7e08b98674961293f34.png will include 2 videos here

first Dimash singing SOS

and then probably the best vocal coach on youtube - Tara Simon - to explain why this is so incredible

(image.png.8b97eed4f83f2fe429089cff3870c3b4.png regularly goes to Tara for her critiques. tara does not just play something and say, "yeah. i really liked that"

she explains WHY it is working

and offers remarkable - on point - constructive criticisms

and now

Dimash

and Tara Simon's review

Dimash has a beautiful voice!! with such a wide range of vocal ranges!! when he does high vocals, you'd swear it was a woman singing!! thank you so much for sharing image.png.8b97eed4f83f2fe429089cff3870c3b4.png, with love from Wes!!! hugs!!!

I've heard some Youtube vids on Youtube.

I'm a little meh on Dimash.  As Wes said above, he comes across as having a very feminine voice - it's a little unsettling for me to see someone that's so gender neutral and feminine (am I an old school butch gender-conformist?? Probably LOL).

What do you guys think?

Dimash can range from very high falsetto to a deep rich operatic tenor. that is quite a range. as tara points out - if you listen closely it is almost as though several voices are coming out. when dimash sings in full chest voice - he is definitely a guy. this goes beyond his years of training. this is just a natural gift.

a valid criticism is that dimash might rely too much on his falsetto. he probably does that because the showman knows that the audience likes it. to go from a rich operatic tenor to nearly a whistle is no easy feat and painfully few can do it.

while SOS might not fully display the deep range in his voice - The Show Must Go On might. (You can tell english is NOT his first language)
