not a fan of the month of August

four years ago landed in hospital due to heat wave and inability to obtain needed medicines

if had air conditioning than things might have been considerably different

has never been capable of handling intense heat and humidity

so - with August generally being the hottest and most humid month of the year by

one could see why not a fan

 

this August the washing machine died

so now needs to replace stove, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge

 

the issue of the washing machine is magnified because August 2020 has not been kind to 's invalid parental unit

the heat does not help anybody

but when you are not healthy to begin with

and you are in the 5 or 6 year of something that

on average

takes 7 years to then kill you

it is that much worse

 

invalid parental unit is only semi lucid

but can no longer really get to the actual bathroom so a commode has to be placed by the bed

and assistance is needed

 

and because the bodily functions are no longer as controllable as they had been a month ago

a working washing machine would be of extreme assistance

 

today the temperature went slightly down as did the humidity

but and sibling smelled something burning

it isn't in the house

something outside

but what?

 

why would anybody start a fire in a fire pit in HOT August weather?

 

while 's abode is not going to burn down - most likely - by the end of this year

questions whether or not invalid parental unit will live to see 2021
