had discovered that a simple antihistamine would keep hives at bay

first used a simple one from tylenol

and it did make a little woozy - but hours later

and the next day was hives free!

YAY!

the aloe vera cuts down the itchy/stinging

but don't want the hives at all!

in doing research - while diabetes CAN cause hives it is far from a top reason

other than allergies or extreme heat or cold

thyroid issues could be a source

and that is more likely than diabetes

and has BOTH!

YAY!

so - was it anything put in 's maw?

(get your minds out of the gutter!)

NOPE

 

the leading culprit is 's being hypo-thyroid

oh joy

 

still not health threatening and can last a few months

 

so 's sibling gets some over-the-counter benadryl

and warned "this will make very droswy"

 

this morning spied a tiny hive so decided to pop a benadryl

but it really didn't exactly make tired

 

some hows later sees more hives

the benadryl is supposed to last 24 hours

so popped a second

 

not exactly tired

but maybe it will cut 's regular bouts of insomnia

 

at least not itchy at the moment

 

just sticky from the humidity

 

YES! the fun never ends with !
