today is or would be my Mother's 101st birthday, and I was obligated to attend a memorial service in the out-of-doors. next park over. it was 60ºF or 15ºC and very windy. this will not go down as the most successful day in history. I woke up at the crack of dawn, decided to go out for breakfast, and found the first fast food facility was happy to take my money, and I was expected to leave without sitting down. the second fast food facility had kiosks for ordering, that I did not find user-friendly.
