Yes - apart from the fact that some fashion models have turned to porn or "porn-lite" as a second career or to supplement income. The line between porn model and fashion model thus can get rather blurry at times. In terms of fashion, the model serves as a canvas for the clothes or accessories being displayed. Obviously, porn is about bodies / sex. But as we know, "sex sells", so sex appeal is also played-up in fashion; the notion being that "These clothes (or this watch) will make you look sexy." *edit* Applies to selling other things, too - think about the times you've seen some dashing / handsome / sexy guy in a car commercial. The message is basically the same - "This car will make you look sexy". Fashion versus Porn isn't the only division. Where does the favorite model of a photographer or other artist fall with regard to categorization? Case in point: Photographer David Vance and his "ginger muse", model Kevin Selby. Likewise, Vance's work with Cirque du Soleil performer, Philippe Bélanger.
