Profile: Born: 11 February 1941, Canton GA.  Sonny did posing–strap modeling in the 1960s followed by nude modeling for Champion Studios.  After a short stint in straight pornography in the 1970s he got into mainstream film acting for a while doing stunt work.  Among his many films are 48 hours (1982), Poltergeist (1982) Predator (1987), Taxi Dancer (1993).  Political trivia:  Predator (from the 1987 film) was the name of the campaign bus that Arnold Schwarzenegger used to tour California in his bid for Governor. This film featured Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura and Sonny Landham.  Ventura was recently Governor of Minnesota & Sonny was a candidate for governor of Kentucky in 2002.  Sonny's other film work includes playing the Indian in 48 Hrs.  More recently Sonny was involved in real–life drama, being convicted in federal court of making harassing phone calls to his wife during a custody battle.  He spent two and a half years in federal prison before the appeals court reversed the conviction and set him free, finding that what he was accused of doing, even if true, would not be a crime.  When he moved to Hollywood, he became a protege of Carroll Righter, the late astrologer (perhaps the reason for the Playgirl Horoscope appearance?).
