I started the day singing, I don't wanna get up, I'm a Toys Я Us kid - wait that's wrong or I am the oldest kid in the western hemisphere. regardless, I got up and worked assiduously on my collection, and now day is done, gone the sun (cue Taps). a couple of thoughts I had while working on the collection: I have been collecting and curating images for a while now, and the overall quality of the collection has diminished. regardless, I am striving to get the boyz back to my own high standards, which, BTW brings me to today's lineup. my feature is Kevin Kline, whom I never heard of until he co-starred with Tom Selleck, portraying a gay schoolteacher in Indiana (poor sod). This handsome hunk had been working as an actor Down Under for years, but opportunities were limited even for someone talented and overflowing with good looks, charm and sex appeal. Such extended attention on the naked male body and genitalia rarely occurs in American movies and television. Even though there was shrinkage which is understandable after a duel, it was gratifying to see Manu so confident and natural during the scene.

Meet our weekend security team at Loveless Motel. Left to right, Officer Rod, Officer Dick, and Officer Peter. They're local cops moonlighting for extra cash and a free drink per shift. Don't be afraid to say hello - they won't bite unless you ask. They have been known to toss a few guys into the Hoosegow at the Bunkhouse for crowding around the laundry room. Punishment is stiff at Loveless Motel.

The barn over at the Stables is the place to rent a horse, or ride a cowboy. Loveless Motel has something for everyone!

Some of our suites at Loveless Motel have private hot tubs on the patio or in a tiled area of the unit. These have been popular and need to be booked well in advance, however we encourage those late arriving guests who were unable to plan ahead to ask, as from time to time we have to evict non-paying guests suddenly. Recently, one became available because the lead guest on the reservation had been incarcerated indefinitely in our local detention center, the Hoosegow at the Bunkhouse, for being among a group of men who had been warned not to crowd the door to the laundry room but did so anyway. Our incoming guest was very grateful.

on balance, a pretty good day. well, it was a ho-hum day until 3 o'clock when we had a momentary power outage. my life alert machine said «ba-doing» and nothing else. however, my favourite hag appeared on the doorstep to enquire if I was dead, so I served coffee and cookies and we chatted. mixed bag today - I got my wreath down and ready for hanging. not being European, I don't know if Saint Nicholas comes on the evening of the 5th or of the 6th, so I err on the side of caution and hang my wreath on the 5th. probably means nothing to anybody except me; the wreath is battery powered, and must contain a chip that turns it on at 6 pm and off at 12 pm, so I don't have to think about it again until Epiphany! that was TMI, wasn't it. my featured model for today is Jessie Pavelka.
