3. Modus Vivendi - The Contrast Line

   Colour blocking is one of the biggest trends in men’s underwear at the moment, and no other brand has presented it better than Modus Vivendi in its Contrast line. The new line comprises underwear in three distinctive styles and tank tops. This designs are a celebration of colour featuring contrasting combinations of fuchsia with black and aqua blue with purple.
   The campaign was photographed at the studios of Modus Vivendi in Greece by P2Photography. Models Efthimis Chatziapostolou and Giorgos Chatzisavvas are photographed on a full on colour background, a symbol of spring and good things to come. The brand’s optimistic attidute goes one step further with the inclusion of their best selling and recently restocked Weekly Briefs and C-Through Briefs in this shoot. A bright and energetic campaign that matches perfectly the character of the new Contrast Line by Modus Vivendi!

   Jamie Button on his foray into designer mens underwear
   I am a new underwear designer, Jamie Button, based in London and I want to tell you all about my hot new brand and why I decided to bravely enter the world of mens underwear.
   For me, men’s underwear is often a little hit and miss, I quite often like the style of a few brands, but then one or two washes and they either fade in colour or lose their shape and I find the whole thing frustrating, particularly when you are paying around £30. Not only that, I also think that men’s underwear is missing a bit of class. I know there are premium brands out there, and don’t get me wrong they are great but, not always affordable for today’s modern man.
   With this in mind, I decided to create something that could solve all of these factors, and come up with relatively simple designs in my first collection that are stylish, good quality, and great fit in all of the right places. All my products are made in the UK, which comes at a cost but has allowed me to work closely with a manufacturer to ensure that every single element is perfect. The detailed waste band has been created in Italy by the same manufacturer as the worlds top two designers, and I was so lucky to find such a great manufacturer for what was the most challenging element of bringing the pieces together.
   I believe in my product, and I believe in my brand and there is so much more I want to achieve. Today, as I write this, I am finalising my women’s underwear/lounge wear collection and getting ready for my swimwear collection too which I can see on lots of hot guys in Madrid, Mykonos and Barcelona.
   As much as I am loving the experience of running my own business and a brand, its far tougher than I thought it would be and its a competitive industry out there, and its difficult to get heard and noticed. If you have ever seen an episode of X-factor, I often remind myself of those contestants that apply year after year, they keep on trying and eventually they get there. Hopefully that will me and I will get there too, and I will stick at it as I’m so passionate about fashion and design and its all I want to do every second of the day (apart from the obvious stuff of course ha ha).
   At present there are twelve stylish designs to choose from at my website www.jamiebutton.co.uk that incorporate black, white and gold across each of the pieces. I chose these colours to begin with, as for me they ooze luxury and style. I plan to start introducing more colours in future collections, including my up and coming swimwear range.

9. ES Power Flux Collection

   ES Collection presents Power Flux, its FW2019-20 Collection
   Catalan brand ES Collection presents Power Flux, the new Fall/Winter 19-20 Collection. Head designer, Carmen Monforte, expresses the transition of men’s power into an empowerment of all. The inspiration comes from the rapid evolution of human and social rights in recent decades and how their recognition became a natural trend in most parts of the globe. This evolution is translated into multiple textures, bold and contrasting colours, contemporary designs and the incorporation of fabric and construction technology. The collection itself pays much attention to good fit, comfort and natural enhancement of the male physique.
   Power Flux is divided into three lines, presented in campaigns inspired by US Army bases. The collection will be gradually released in the next few months according to market’s needs, color palettes and technologies used.
   The first line, photos from which you see below, is called Fort Lauderdale, known as America’s Venice, with a settlement of three military bases. The main colours of this line are blue, navy, red, white and grey. Blue, red and white represent the Aerial and Naval bases’ flag. The steel tones of the structures are mixed with navy blue that represents the sea. A range of different textures, materials and technologies come together in a perfect balance in the mature and cohesive first line of ES Collection’s Fall/Winter Collection 19-20. Outstanding photography by Tarek del Moreno with a whole army of models posing in the underwear, sportswear and street wear of the Catalan label. This is definitely one of the best collections we have seen this season!
