4. The Provocation of the Posing Pouch.

   Intended to screen the peen, before we fell out of it the posing pouch was fetishized by photographers, who crammed their models' genitalia into those skimpy patches of fabric - I'm thinking of the fittings - revealing by concealing what we all wanted to see.

11. Celebrating "g" Magazine

    Fab lady founder/editor-in-chief, Ana Fadigas brought the wondrously diverse beauty of Brasilian mean in a very unique and meaningful way with g magazine!  Adding to the already large chorus here on AM, but that mag is greatly missed with its diversity drawing in celebs in the sporting, music and acting worlds, as well as inter-gen features of father/son and brother clusters.  So good!  Hopefully you'll enjoy posts of gentlemen you haven't seen before, or in a long time!

13. Lou Zivkovich - Poseiden Rises!

    He fought the law - and won!  Supremely masculine, all 6'/4" and 216ibs of natural man, Mr. Zivkovich was initially terminated from employment as a gym school teacher for posing in Playgirl in 1975.  I never get tired of hearing that he challenged the school system in court, supported by the faculty and students of the school, triumphed!  While the judge, while noting that posing naked was probably not the best decisions, he didn't agree that it constituted just cause for termination.  Not sure if he did in fact return, but the story is that he became a performer who caught the eye of that force of nature known as Mae West, and became her very popular "friend".  I also never tire of viewing this pics from his Playgirl spread - a man's man who let his body's grooming handle itself!  ENJOY.

16. The Piers

    From NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project: 
    By the early 20th century, Greenwich Village's Hudson River waterfront and numerous piers with Beaux Arts style shipping terminals comprised the busiest section of New York's port for cargo and trans-Atlantic passengers, with merchant ships, steamships, barges, and commuter ferries.
    Changes in the maritime industry and the growth of the airlines made the piers and the large shipping terminals obsolete, leading them to be abandoned by the mid-1960s. The dilapidated structures - including Pier 45 (known as the Christopher Street Pier) opposite West 10th Street, and piers 46, 48, and 51 - were reappropriated as a destination for gay men to sunbathe naked, cruise, and have public sex by the early 1970s.

19. Jim Manning

    Jim Manning was the middle brother of Joe and John Manning. He appeared in two AMG productions:  Pharoah's New Slave (r. 1958), and  Experimental Model (with Jim and John Manning, r. 1964). The exact year in which he posed for Bruce Bellas (Bruce of Los Angles) is not clear, although one source indicates 1959. He also posed for Pat Milo and Lyle Frisby.
