It is an extremely painful and traumatic surgical procedure when performed without anesthesia, which is generally the case for all circumcisions performed without medical reason (and without a doubt the most numerous) and therefore "useless" medically.

As for the fact that "there was no anesthesia for centuries and it always went well" ..... This is without counting all the consequences such as infections leading to irreducible deformities or even death as in the case of certain hemophiliac children
