Back when I discovered "pleasure" and "spurts", I used my right hand as that was my dominant hand.  I was not against using my left hand, though.  As time progressed, several years later, it seemed that my left hand felt better, so that's what has been used every since.  My right hand "still fits", but can't make the curve like it used to.  Whatever works!
