Justin Miale and a Yorkie.  Isn’t the the little doggie absolutely adorable?  Oh, and Justin is pretty easy on the eyes, too.  I’d definitely stop and give him a ride (in more than one way).

Another great Paul Freeman shot of an Aussie hunk in the Outback.  (You can just barely make see Freeman’s watermark.)  But take a close look just to the left of his belt buckle and the last hole in his belt.  Maybe even zoom in as much as you can.  Is that what I think it is?

Fortunately, dogs have limited color vision, so it can’t tell how hideously all that ink defaces his human’s otherwise fairly hunky body.  (Dogs aren’t colorblind, but they can only distinguish a limited number of colors.)

Actually @Davie the exact same thought occurred to me.

I guess it depends which part of the horse you are jealous of. (He said, ending a sentence with a preposition. My English teacher would turn in his grave).

A DANGLING PREPOSITION

Yeah, I was taught the same rule, and I almost always follow it in formal writing.  But in the informal writing style we use here, the general practice is to ignore some formalities, such as using “whom" instead of “who” as the object of a preposition and other situations where the objective case is formally required.  (How many times have you seen “whom” used in an AM post?)  And, alas, some members are blissfully unaware of the finer points of English, either the U.S. version or the Queen’s.  Churchill himself — no slouch as a writer and orator — is quoted as saying, “This is the sort of English up with which I will not put!” when someone edited a terminal preposition out of something he’d written.  Such formal constructions often look and sound awkward.  And you often see (or formally, “one often sees”) the guideline, “A preposition is a word you can end a sentence with.”  Of course, there’s also the opposite guideline, “A preposition is a word not to end a sentence with.”  One despairs.

A country lad went off to college at Harvard, and he stopped an upperclassman to ask, “Can you tell me where the library is at?” The upperclassman condescendingly replied, “At Harvard we don’t end a sentence with a preposition!”  The freshman responded, “Okay, can you tell me where the library is at, asshole?”  (Never mind the additional consideration that when you ask where something is, “at” is clearly implied by the context, so it’s superfluous.  And obviously, substituting Oxford or Cambridge for Harvard in this yarn would work equally well for our British mates.)

But I agree completely with the sentiment of Doug’s sentence:  It depends of which part of the horse you’re jealous. ^_^

And as Doug would say, “We now return to our regular programing."

Uh, not to be paranoid about Pit Bulls, but unless that guy is extremely short, that is a gigantic dog, even for that breed.  Just look at the size of its mouth vs. the guy's arms and legs, or the size of its head vs. his waist.  I don’t care how well-trained that dog may be, but I certainly wouldn’t bare my junk around it!

Huh, Actually I should have said dangling participle in reference to this short subject film about sex Ed. I saw back in college.  I really wasn't referring to his writing.Lol

LOL.  I’d definitely like to play with that guy’s “dangling participle.”  What a hottie! :omg:  (And I wouldn’t mind a bit if he asked me “where the library is at”!)
