thank you for explaining wurlitzer. it may still take me a while to get in the groove of playing the game, and just because i don`t offer a guess, doesn`t mean i`m not paying attention.

after reviewing the test wurlitzer, i have a query. you mentioned that each clue had 2 hints, one in the song and another in the name of the artist who sang it. in the test wurlitzer i didn`t see any hint in the name of the artist in relation to the person, Marilyn Monroe, in the names of any of the artists of each song. or have i misunderstood how wurlitzer works? with love from Wes!! Hugs!!!

No, generally each clue has one hint and this may be in the song or in the singer; sometimes ( only sometimes ! ) a clue may have 2 hints, that's both in the song and in the singer.

1.  OK, but one word is too much ..... consider that there are so many songs with the word love, but so few with book. So, why did i choose the BOOK of love ?

i`m not sure what you meant by one word is too much. i wasn't going for the singer Edwin Starr, i using his last name, for someone for who might have starred in something having to do with a book or of love. i was using parts of your 2 clues, to find a solution to this wurlitzer. i am only voicing my process in coming up with an answer.
