Max Emerson

Max Emerson (born in Vero Beach, Florida, September 7, 1988) is an American model, screenwriter, film and television actor, director, model, screenwriter and producer. He also runs a successful YouTube channel.

Modeling career

He graduated in 2009 after studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Miami University. While still a student, Emerson worked on his modeling career. He was quickly noticed and signed with the Wilhelmina Models agency. Later he collaborated with other companies such as Q Management, Heffner Management, Next Management, or Established Models.

Actor and a filmmaker

Emerson began his acting career in 2010, in a movie "Violet Tendencies", but he is best known for his role in the season 5 finale of TV show Glee. He also produced two short films before in 2015 he made an independent movie "Hooked" which addresses the problems of young and homeless LGBT people. He has also been credited as a writer, and director, with his latest project being a movie Psycho Stripper that was released in 2019.

Max Emerson is active on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. His Instagram page has more than 1.1 million followers as he posts pictures from both his private life and business projects. His YouTube channel has more than 170K subscribers where he posts vlogs from his travels but also does challenges and lifestyle and fitness tips. Some of his videos have more than 100K views. Talking about his success as an influencer, Emerson revealed that his focus is on original and quality content. At the same time, he is also not afraid to speak his mind even if that means that he will lose a couple of followers.

Personal life

Max Emerson is openly gay and in a relationship with Andrés Camilo, who is an officer in the USA army. Two of them often film together for YouTube. He is an avid LGBT activist and has written an autobiography describing his growing up in Florida. Published in only 500 copies, the book is also available in digital format.
