i`d love to give that a try, Tycho!! can you be a little more specific on how the dill pickles were sliced (lengthwise or widthwise), or if the were more of a dice?

i grew out of peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches a long time ago. if i can have regular peanut butter with strawberry jam, i`d be willing to give it a try!! i mean yum

To 1 and 1/2 pounds of ground meat in your regular meat loaf recipe add 2 to 3 large dill pickles sliced or diced - makes best meatloaf ever.

Nanaimo Squares? 3 layers of total deliciousness  another Canadian recipe invented in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Bottom layer crushed nuts, crushed graham wafers, shredded sweetened coconut, brown sugar, and melted at least 70% dark chocolate    middle layer vanilla custard or sometimes other flavors such as mint , my personal favorite is chocolate custard with fresh raspberries - whatever flavor make it from scratch  not from a mix    top layer  dark chocolate ganache. However you make it,  there is no calories or fat at all. Not!
