I live in the City of Las Vegas where Sat-Apr 10 means pool season is well under way. (We get daytime high temps in the upper 80s now.) I saw humor in the messaging sent by my landlord in the annual "hey, welcome, the pool is opening up" email during April. This one, however, contains messaging like you find on cable television for all those RX drugs: Remember to wash your hands and avoid touching your face. I guess they don't mean you can wash in the pool or tough your face in the pool. It is mandatory to wear a mask at all times in the pool area. Please do not wear a mask while actively swimming. Wait, this means you can inactively swim in the pool, not wash, not touch your face, and not wear a mask. The landlord seems sincere in wanting us to have a good time at the pool. But then this is added: Please remember that the COVID-19 is in our community and it is a highly infectious respiratory illness that spreads from both person-to-person contact and is transmissible through contact with surfaces or objects contaminated by the virus. People of all ages and fitness levels may be affected by the virus.
