This was during the ill-advised period in 1987 where Playgirl decided to bypass full-frontal shots -- an apparent attempt to go more "mainstream" that was about as successful as New Coke had been a few years earlier.

I have just added a new image of what I am guessing is the centrefold. It is cropped on the website that sells this rare issue but the cropping suggests that there was a glorious full frontal of this furry hunk.

I didn't know there was a Playgirl Brazil. The only "female erotica magazine" I knew (and ever bought) was Íntima&Pessoal ("Close [or "Intimate"] and Personal" in english). 

I was trying to do some research into it but I am not finding anything more, I guess there were only few issues of that publication and they didn't survive it long enough to be scanned and shared on line. But maybe out there somewhere someone still owns this issue and others.

yes, there was a frontal nude in this edition. he was an aspiring actor and his name was Roger Cadore ... I was 13 at the time but I managed to buy the magazine. Beautiful man, small penis.

Actually New Coke was well liked by many people and actually was sold in stores under the name Coke II until 2002. So it really wasn’t as much as a failure as people claim considering it was on shelves for over a Decade.
