Partnership Structure

What makes AdonisMale unique among free gay communities is our structure of Partnership -- a joint effort among volunteer archivists to collectively share our hand-picked, personal pictures. What started out as a small project five years ago among two people has grown into one of the world's largest online archives of gay and homoerotic content in an award-winning site.  Over the years, we've been humbled and exhilarated by multiple selfless volunteers donating their comprehensive collection of photos to the website's archives and galleries, adding to our overall efforts to be one of the world's best free resources of homoerotic photography.

The partnership idea is embedded into the very DNA of our website, from the joint effort of thousands of members who foster a welcoming and friendly community to the leadership of the partners who curate our renown galleries.  

Partnership Goals

The Sum is Greater Than the Parts.  We  believe that by working together, and directing our individual efforts into a unified endeavor, we will accomplish far more than what we can do alone.  

Sharing is Caring.  Although most of us initially amassed a private collection for our own viewing, we've come to the realization that some photography is too good to be locked away and deserves to be shared for the enjoyment of all.

More is Better.  We strive to become a leading resource on the web through not only quality, but by our sheer size and unmatched resources of photogalleries and documentation.

Preservation of the Past.  We serve as stewards of homoerotic photography, by carefully saving, documenting, organizing, and presenting the information on behalf of future generations.

Who We Are

Over the years, we've had the following real-world people serve as Partners: housewife, electrical engineer, school principal, retirees, and an accountant.  We live on 3 different continents.

What we realize, however, is that we're not defined by where we came from, but by what we want to build together.

Suggestions.  While there are no requirements to become a Partner, you should be honest and comfortable with the following:

• You enjoy the community - You should extensively investigate and converse with the broader membership to ensure this is a community that you should enjoy serving and working in.  We're pretty friendly .  
• You're in it for the long term - You can commit to a long-term project over many months and many years, with the recognition that building a definitive resource will span a tremendous amount of time and effort.
• You're okay with tedious work -  You don't mind tedious, painstakingly menial tasks like countless uploading, editing file descriptions, or writing repetitive resources.  You should enjoy detail-oriented work and organizing.
