The golden man of Playgirl's first full year of publication in 1974 was Woodroe Parker, who was 29 years old when he appeared in Playgirl. In his interview, Woody reveals that he has an artistic side - he was an art student at Western State College at Bellingham, and longed to travel to Europe for the creative stimulation. He's also a lover and a gigolo - "I entertained older ladies" - and he was their lover, confidant, and travel companion who shared his company with women.
