Sir, Spending a lot more time at home instead of going out. Most places that would be open that it goes to are closed right now. So social life is on hold at the moment, Sir.

i`m dealing with it the best i can!! it seems like the whole planet in shutting down a little at a time!! thank god my gym is still running. with so few people going to the gym over the last 2 weeks, we are lucky to see 3 to 5 members in the gym at any given time!! our government stated that there shouldn`t be any crowds larger than 50 people, and as i mention, with attendance so low, there is no possibility of ever reaching a crowd that large, that we can't easily practice social distancing.

a lot of the stores here are limiting how many people are in the store at any given time, some are taking measures to comply with social distancing by having markers on the floors at checkouts, so no one is any closer then 2 meters from one another.  plus they are putting plexiglass enclosures around the checkouts to protect the cashiers. some places have shut down completely for 2 weeks.

going to the gym is the highlight of my day, so if my gym did close, i`d go stir crazy.

Canada has 258 cases of the virus, with only 2 deaths so far, and both of those deaths were of people in their 70`s, and i believe they had other ailments that contributed to their passing.

I wrote it somewhere else on yesterday that we have been in complete self-isolation in our house for the last two weeks. We do not lack for activities.

I completely understand you but I love you too much not to tell you you're putting yourself at serious risk

A lot of different ways of daily life are sometimes a challenge to deal with (like grocery shopping and banking by appointment only if you actually need to deal with a person)... at first I thought I would rather be stranded in Honolulu than NYC... but I'm here with my partner and my dog... so I'm happy  to be stuck at home with them.

As many others have mentioned, I'm in self-imposed isolation and, as @Tomster said, there's no lack of activity, partly thanks to AM.  Unfortunately, I'm lazier than @ROGERsoCal, and cleaning isn't very high on my priority list (although it probably should be).

This is more of a public-service announcement than describing the impact on my daily life, but a close friend sent me the following link to a really good video about the science behind why thoroughly washing your hands with just ordinary soap and water is very effective for sanitizing them and actually superior to hand sanitizer in some ways.  It's consistent with everything I've read or seen from credible sources like the CDC and WHO.  Of course, if you're somewhere that doesn't have access to soap and water, hand sanitizer is your only recourse -- if you can find it.

update on my gym: as of today at 9pm, my gym will be shut down until further notice!! except for my daily walks, the only thing i have to look forward to is masturbating, going back and forth between hands to keep my symmetry!!

you guys may have to put up with me being around a lot more over the next week or 2!!

I'm to the site. Here in Illinois our "shelter in place" just started about 2 hours ago and is in effect until April 7th. I'm sure I'll be spending time using my hands to entertain myself with all pictures on this great site. Hope everyone's life gets back to normal soon.

My employer sent me to Home Office last week for three weeks. Also I do not go out anymore except to buy some groceries.

Bill Gates's 2015 TED Talk about the threat of a global virus pandemic.  It's too bad the right people weren't listening, thought he was exaggerating, or didn't care.  The video runs for about 8:30.

(There's a slightly shorter version making the rounds that's in a much smaller video format and leaves out the introduction and a few details and examples.  It covers the essential points, though.)

In 2018, the Trump administration fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command, including the White House management infrastructure. The country is now paying the price for this irresponsible decision.

I hope everyone is doing ok. It's really crazy what's going on in the world right now. I work for the government and

am considered a emergency essential employee so I have to report to work while the rest of the people in my

state were ordered to remain inside their home unless it's a emergency or to go food shopping. I have 2 elderly

parents living at home and it worries me that I'll bring the virus home with me. I've never seen anything like this in

my lifetime. It's disheartening to go to the grocery store and see all the empty shelves but the stores are trying to

keep up with demand. Lets all hope the world gets back to normal soon.

Unfortunately the avatars do not keep the minimum distance of 6 feet. Therefore it is better to wear a face mask.:t2748:

This was all predicted decades ago. Laurie Garret laid out the stakes and in 25 years we have done nothing to mitigate such a disaster. I saw Her on Australian 60 minutes a few days ago and she said The one Factor she would never have anticipated was a callous and inept response from the government.
