blip remains in isolation
was beginning to wonder why it had been awhile since some of 's meds were being refilled
luckily - had managed to build up a stockpile of insulin
but, even so, stockpiles have a tendency to ultimately run out
the pharmacy sent a text saying - once again - a renewal was turned down
so finally called 's doctor
it seems the pharmacy was VERY inarticulate in their claim the renewal was turned down
the insurance turned it down because the prescription number had expired
and the pharmacy failed to inform 's doctor
so that 's doctor could again send the prescription in
then the prescription gets a new number
and everybody is happy
so - today gets all kindsa refills
actually - 's sibling went to get the prescriptions
but 's sibling NEVER looks in the bag to make certain that what is in the bag matches what 's prescriptions should be
uses insulin pens
not vials of insulin that require a syringe
(has not used a syringe in quite some time)
upon seeing the vials - but no syringes immediately informed sibling
"this won't work"
so had to go to the pharamcy
which graciously made the exchange
so now - the meds are all OK
as to the doctor appointments?
's diabetes doctor - when called
stating that was nervous about coming in
they informed that no patients are to come in
all check up will be on the phone
how you can look in 's throat by phone is beyond
maybe just prescribe an antibiotic - cause thats what thinks is needed?
as to the eye doctor - they changed that appointment until june
unless has any vision issue needing immediate looking into
( laughed at their pun - whuch they did not realize was a pun)
so will be able to remain in isolation
hopefully sibling did not catch anything
keeping an eye on any possible signs
