Honcho July 1978 - Wow, at first glance there is so much here that is of interest to me! 

The editorial page touches on international sports, specifically body building. There's mention of Arnold Schwartzenegger (sic) with a small G-rated pic. And David Martin illustrations of a hot gymnast and a boxer. 

This leads into "Jock Watch" with juicy photos from the locker room of what they claim are real athletes from Puerto Rico. 

There's the promised article on Arnold Schwarzenegger (spelled correctly this time), which I admit I did not read.

Then "Contact," a pictorial featuring two guys grappling in a fanciful mixture of hockey gear, included sweaty jock straps and giant cups, their faces covered by sport masks. Hot! Photos by Don Hanover. No idea the identity of the two models, which adds to the allure.

Next is my favorite, "Jocks in a Locker Room," which is a combination of photo excerpts from the Falcon film "PE-627" (c1978) with Kirk Mannheim, Jeff Turk and Vince Clark mixed in with random anonymous jock pics.

"Red Star" features bodybuilder Alexei Korshakovska from the Soviet Union. No frontal nudity, but he has a great body of course and a thick mustache. Kind of a brute, in the best possible way!

Then "Kidd Stuff" with Eddie Kidd, a real-life motorcycle daredevil from the UK. I'm not usually into them when they're this young and boy-ish, but there is no denying the utter sexiness of the combo of motorcycles, shirtless riders, uniforms, and 1970s tattoos that this feature offers. Also PG-rated.

As if to appease us after Kidd, a short biker pictorial immediately follows with a different kind of bike and a fully naked rider. YUM. Photos by Man's Image. I recognize the model, but can't name him. Help?

"Highland Fling" is like an old cigarette or liquor ad, but with Thomas MacDougal as a naked Marlboro Man type. In fact, it refers to the Scottish highland. "A cowboy jock in Scotland," it says. Photos by Mike Arlen.

"Manuel's Labor" features the 1978 Mr. USA title holder, Manuel Perry, who is a giant of a man. Muscles, muscles, muscles! Photos by Roy Dean.

The rest of the mag has ads boasting more sexy men from various photographers and studios. And various other things. I always love the ads.

Nota lot of BIG stars in this, but such a terrific issue. Really great.
