pluses and minuses today: I had to go to the bank and arm wrestle my bank manager to give back $110 they charged me in error. glad I had documentation! secondly, modestly, I have to share that I am the best speller in Lakeland, at least by the library's lights. my First Place gift did not contain any chocolate, so I was a bit put off. lastly, one is bummed to learn that HM Queen Elizabeth II has gone to a higher court. it was not unexpected, and I had bought crêpe for my portrait of the Queen. so to the boyz - a problem in deciding whether to go with John Gibson and his ample amount of andouille or with Shane Giese who seems to have muscles upon muscles! welcome to our newest clubmembers!

Yeah.  I bought John's centerfold issue twice. I threw the first one out in a fit of shame. Then like a moth to a flame I had to go back and buy another copy before it left the newsstands. Way back when.

I am not a playgirl afficionado, as it seemed too chick-oriented, however, did get the issues with the hunkiest guys!! :hubba_hubba-404:

Ha ha, were you able to browse through the issue to see if the men not on the cover were worth getting the issue for? The few places around where I could buy it I was too "ashamed" to try to look at what was in it and would just grab it and get it paid for and out of the store as fast as possible. Worrying someone I would know might come in and catch me buying it.

I also kind of liked to get it home or in my car and then see who was inside, except when I would be disappointed because I wouldn't find them that hot. But sometimes it would be a great surprise like the issue with Ed Ventresca. Dam he was HOT.

the first time I attended the GFL (Gay Freedom League) in Syracuse, I walked up the hill to the campus location, rather convinced that my Mother and Father, along with my minister, my boss, and the Chief of Police would pop over the horizon and catch me

I met John Gibson when I was working as a waiter in a Hollywood restaurant. He would come in and study his soap opera script and have a steak dinner with a huge schooner of milk. He was every bit as gorgeous in person. Also polite and considerate and never demanding. His death was shockingly tragic.

what a nice little story! he looked like a nice guy, however, looks can be deceiving. I am a devout believer in being nice to people on your way up as you might meet them again on the way back down 🤨
